The Department of Biology offers highly-innovative undergraduate and masters programs. These programs are comprised of both theoretical fundamental courses and hands-on laboratory experience in modern areas of biological science and technology. Areas of specialty within the department include but are not limited to: Cell and Molecular Biology, Molecular Technologies and Molecular Genetics, Drug discovery, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biology of Cancer.

We welcome qualified high school graduates, who are ambitious to research, dare to tackle the challenges, and are willing to dedicate to the research in Biology and Biomedical area or apply for further medical carrier.

After successful completion of the program, the students will be able to enter a Graduate Program to earn a Masters or PhD degree or to successfully pass the MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) to satisfy medical school prerequisites, for application to the School of Medicine.

At the Chemistry Department we are doing our best to provide excellent teaching, challenging research through our vigorous engagement in grant applications and international collaborations. We welcome qualified high school graduates, who have curiosity in science, dare to tackle the challenges, and are willing to dedicate to the learning and research in Chemistry.

Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science strives to enable our students to meet the challenges of  our rapidly evolving field.  The general educational objectives of our programs include exposure to core principles and key historical reference points, while retaining the agility to adapt as new theoretical and technological advances are made.  Many opportunities to take part in innovative research are available to students, opening future paths in industry, government, and academia.  Areas of specialty within the department include Software Engineering, Intelligent Systems, Cyber Security, Sensor Networks, Mobile Computing, and Big Data Analytics.

At the Mathematics Department we are striving to be excellent in both research and teaching through our vigorous engagement in grant applications and international research collaborations, adhering to the highest international standards. Our strengths lie in areas of applied mathematics, statistics and pure mathematics. Strong emphasis is put on interdisciplinary research, where we workwith many other faculty members of the physical, biological, economics, and engineering sciences.

PhysicsWe are establishing a Physics department that combines basic physics research, in-depth analysis of applied physics, and development of the next generation technology devices that will be critical for our civilization. Our mission is excellence in research and teaching. We train expert problem solvers whose analytical skills allow them to undertake the most challenging problems that this nation and the global community will be facing in the future, be it problems in science, technology, economics, medicine or policy making.

Robotics and Mechatronics

RoboticsThe rapidly expanding Robotics and Mechatronics Department has brand new teaching and research laboratories with state-of-the-art installed equipment providing the necessary infrastructure for cutting edge research. Advanced equipment such as laser scanners, 3D printers, printed circuit mills and presses, industrial robot manipulators, mobile robot systems, motion capture systems, augmented reality goggles, haptic feedback and motion control setups are readily available for our students and actively integrated in our curriculum.
