Mark Sterling received the B.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY in 2002 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Rochester, Rochester NY, in 2004 and 2010 respectively.
He is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science SST Nazarbayev University. He previously held post-doctoral positions at the University of Rochester and Rochester Institute of Technology. His primary research interests are biomedical and audio signal processing as applied to translational medicine and machine learning.
