How to get to the conference venue in Astana

Nazarbayev university is at 53 Kabanbay Batyr. To get there there are two options:

1) Taxi: You can flag down anybody on the street and negotiate a fare. From the city center it will cost you between 500 and 700 tenge. Tell them Nazarbayev University as your destination.

2) Public buses: Lines 10, 12, 27, 40, 51 and 55 stop in front of the university.

You will have to go through the main gates with an ID (bring your passport and look important). We will leave the participants’ list with security, so they should let you in. In case of problem, tell them about the “conference in Algebra” (that sounds about the same in Russian).

Once inside the university, go into large atrium, get down the stairs and turn into the first block on your right (called block 3). The conference room is 3323 (on the third floor).
