Dr. Timur Sh. Atabaev received his Ph.D. (College of Nanoscience and
Nanotechnology) at Pusan National University in 2012. From 2012 to 2017 he
worked as a research professor at Pusan National University and Seoul National
University. He has authored and co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed papers, 2 book
chapters, and 1 patent. His research interests are mainly focused on the synthesis and
characterization of multifunctional inorganic nanostructures for biomedical, optical,
energy and sensors applications.

1) Multifunctional nanostructures for biomedical applications
2) Optical properties of luminescent and phosphorescent materials
3) Semiconductor nanostructures for solar cells and solar water splitting cells
