Zhanat Kappassov received the Engineering degree in Radioengineering from the University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics, Tomsk, Russian Federation in 2011.  He has conducted PhD work at Institute of Intelligent Systems and Robotics of University of Pierre and Marie Curie, Paris, France.  He is currently with Robotics department at School of Science and Technology of Nazarbayev University, Astana, Kazakhstan.

His research interests include artificial tactile sensing, robotic manipulation and autonomous robot physical interactions.
