We are happy to share the great news: six out of ten winners of the 2018 Research Internships in World Laboratories competition, sponsored by the S. Yessenov Foundation, are students of NU…and all of them are the students of the School of Science and Technology!
The 2018 Research Internships program aims to identify, select, and support ten talented students from Kazakhstan interested in research and science. In total, there were sixty-two applicants, and thirty-five of them reached the final.
Congratulations to Khalykbek Yelshibekov (Physics department), Ademi Zhakyp (Biology department), Karina Lezgiyeva (Biology department), Azel Murzabekova (Physics department), Bekarys Nurtay (Robotics and Mechatronics department) and Temirlan Shilikbay (Biology department) for their win in the competition, and best wishes for continued success!
The Research Internships in World Laboratories competition is held annually. The winners of the earlier competitions conducted three-month internships in research laboratories of California Institute of Technology, Harvard Medical School, Rochester Institute of Technology, Karolinska Institute, Tufts University, ETH Zurich, University of Texas, and Boston University.
